What species can I ask about?
Whitetail Wing specializes in deer, bear, turkey, geese, ducks, and pheasant, plus small game such as raccoon. Contact Presten to confirm availability and whether a particular mount style suits your specimen.
How much will my mount cost?
Ask for a written quote. Species, mount format, condition, pose, base, habitat, and additional preparation can affect the price. Confirm the complete scope, deposit, taxes, and collection arrangements before authorizing work. The Pricing page shows how rates and policies will be laid out once Presten confirms them.
What is the current turnaround time?
Contact Presten for the current estimate. Timing depends on the project, preparation, drying, outside services, and the studio’s workload. A date is confirmed directly for your project.
Should I choose a pose before drop-off?
A few ideas help, but you do not need to have everything decided. Bring a photo of the display space and note its width, height, and viewing direction. Specimen condition may influence the options.
What should I do immediately after the hunt?
Contact the studio as soon as possible for species-specific instructions. Protect the skin or feathers, keep the specimen cool, and avoid unnecessary cuts or handling. The field guide is a starting point for that conversation.
Can I bring a bird I found?
Contact the relevant wildlife agency before moving or delivering any found bird. Finding a bird does not establish that it is lawful to keep or mount. Confirm any possession and permit requirements first.
Can I ship my specimen?
Do not ship until Presten has confirmed acceptance, preparation, packing, destination, and timing. Wildlife transport and import requirements depend on the species and where it was taken.
Are the images on this website Presten’s work?
Yes. The mount photographs on this website show Presten’s own finished work. The brand card was supplied for this project. Ask Presten if you would like to see more of his recent work.
How should I care for a finished mount?
Display it indoors away from direct sun, damp conditions, heat sources, and pets. Dust gently and avoid sprays, solvents, or wet cleaning unless Presten recommends them for that particular piece.
Does the inquiry builder send a message automatically?
No. It prepares a message for you to review and send through your own email app. You can also copy or download the text. Direct website submission is not configured. The website does not accept a booking, take a deposit, or confirm a quote.
